HARMONI for the ELT

CAD model of the entire HARMONI instrument, including its support structure (ISS), the focal plane relay (FPRS) and the adaptive optics sensing systems (LGSS for Laser Guide stars, and NGSS for natural guide stars). The heart of the instrument is a large, rotating cryostat that houses the Integral Field Spectrograph (IFS). This contains pre-optics, field splitters and image slicers, spectrographs and science detectors. The instrument will be installed on the ELT Nasmyth platform, and will host its own calibration unit.
